Hi all,

My weigh in's are on Mondays.

I started the WISH challenge on Thursday 6/25. My next weigh in will be this coming Monday. Do I start counting my losses with this coming Monday 6/30/03), or the one the following Monday (7/7/03)??

Thanks!

Melanie:confused:

I would count this coming Monday's loss. Why wait a whole other week! Good Luck.

I would wait for the second week. That way it gives you a chance to settle into your diet.

I vote ASAP!!! If you lose 5lbs in 4 days..GO GRAB THAT CLIPPIE!!

I am not one for delayed gratification...so if you did it...Claim it!!! JMHO!!!

Good Luck!

Let me re-explain it a little:

I have been back on Weight Watchers since 6/2/03. That was my first weigh in. Last Monday, 6/23/03 I lost 3.6 pounds bringing my 3 week total to 11.2.

This coming monday will be my 4th full week of Weight Watchers. Since I just joined the challenge 3 days after the start of my week, I wasn't sure when I should start counting my weight loss for the WISH Challenge.

If I start this week, I will be taking a loss from the 3 days between last Monday and Thursday that I was not on the WISH Challenge.

If I start counting the following Monday, I will loose the 4 days between Thursday and this coming Monday.

Hopefully I didn't thouroughly confuse anyone!

TIA,
Melanie

I am not the By-law queen by any stretch...but I say...count em baby!!!

You worked your butt off to get that weight off...and IMHO...WISH is about being Successfull and Positive..I personally would not have a problem with you counting the losses from those "3 non-wish" days.

Whatever you decide I am proud of you, and I am glad that you joined us!!!

If you weighed in after you took the challenge and saw a loss then you get to claim it.

If you weighed in before taking the challenge you can't claim it :)

Thanks for the answer! My first official "loss" will be on 7/7 - YIKES- right after I come home from Boston! I am kind of excited to try to stay On Program next weekend!

You can do it, Melly. All you need is a plan :) I'm a great believer in plans :)

Take some nonperishable legal WW treats and make the best choices you can make. Don't obsess about what you eat, just be careful.

Most importantly have as much fun as possible and make many happy memories. You're going to do just fine, I'll bet.
