DD and I did the volunteer give a day get a day. We have annual passes, so I was thinking we would do the fast pass thing. Does anyone understand this or know what it gets you exactly?? THANKS!!!

From what I heard, you will get a pass that is good for up to 5 people that will give you one fastpass at each ride for one park.

Not exactly. It's something like you get 3 FPs out of 2 groups of rides (I don't think all rides are included in those groups) - and you can't repeat a ride. Also, they're immediate FPs - you don't have to wait for a return time.

Head over to the Parks & Attractions - there's plenty of discussion there on the details.

We used our GAD vouchers in January. The options were a one day one park ticket, a fastpass, or a souvenir mickey head. If you have APs, then I would recommend either trading in one voucher per day for FP or get one fast pass and one souvenir mickey head. The way the fast pass works is that they give you enough FPs for your entire party (with just one GAD voucher traded in). Along with that they have a list of rides divided into two groups. You can use your FPs at any three rides from each group. When you insert your FP at the ride, you are able to go on immediately and do not have to wait for a later time. The souvenir mickey head is great too. It comes with removable pins. My son loves his and feels proud about volunteering every time he looks at it.

Have fun on your trip.

We used ours 2 weeks ago and got the FD card. You can get a card for up to 6 people per voucher. All the people have to be at the will call window with their park tickets and ID needs to be shown for the person whose name is on the voucher.

We loved them. They give you a sheet and tell you how many per group for that day (could be anywhere between 2-4, ours was 3). You can use them anyway within the two groups called Donald and Daisy Groups. So you really get anywhere between 4 and 8 Special FPs. For example we got to DHS at park open and did ToT and got regular FP for RnR roller coster the only other ride within that group was TSM and we used all 3 FP for TSM. Another thing is that when regular FPs are gone, they have a special machine open for the exchange card and you can still usually get you FP. People where not liking that when we took advantage at Soarin.
