? about upgrading room with bounceback

We were there last summer and booked the free dining bounceback offer for this year at POFQ. I just called to see if I could upgrade to a deluxe and was told no. The CM said I would have had to have done it before the end of Oct. I swear I have read on here about people upgrading and paying the difference. Am I crazy?!

Any changes after the bounceback offer needs to be handled by another department (I think they call it "Guest Relations"). I upgraded my bounceback free dining to deluxe from regular and it had to be done by a level above the normal CM. Call back and if you get the answer again, ask to speak to a supervisor.

I downgraded from POR to POP to stay at the same hotel with friends who booked in April last year for our free dining trip in August. No problem.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I meant to say upgrade to a deluxe hotel, not deluxe dining. I'll call back and talk to a different CM.

Did you try calling the same number that you called when you booked the offer? I kept the flyer so I have the phone number if you need it-I'll just have to dig it out. I just called and changed my room last week with no problems.

The problem may be that there are no rooms left in the rooms designated for the bb free dining at the deluxe resorts. Not every room is available for the discount, they only use so many rooms per promotion.

Bouncebacks are handled by the grand gathering group. Call back reservations and ask for grand gathering.

You can move resorts provided there are still rooms under the bounceback promotions for the time.

Note that Epcot resorts tend to get sold out during October due to food and wine and some conferences.

I booked a bounceback @ Pop in October and upgraded to POFQ in January. When you call, follow the prompt for 8 or more and you will get the Grand Gatherings dept. Tell them you need help with your bounceback reservation.
