??? about travel time to CM?

We'll be staying in offsite about 10 minutes away. Our very first morning & first opportunity to drive to the parks will be to CM for a 9:30 PS. How much time do we need to leave in order to drive/park/walk to the restaurant? Just wondering if I should make it a little later so we are panicking trying to rush & figure out where we are. We won't be going to MK until later for MNSSHP so the day is free time.

If you don't mine me asking, where offsite? Depending on which roads you will need to use to access the Disney property, you may want to leave some extra time.

I have always had decent luck parking at the Contemporary for dinner. I usually park on the side closest to Space Mountain. I figure a couple minutes to go through the checkpoint. I believe Chef Mickey's is on the main floor (right?) So no need to worry about taking time to ride the elevator or negotiate much of the building.

CM is on the 4th floor... where the monorails go through. Once you park allow about another 10 minutes to get to CM.

We'll be at Westgate Vacation Villas at SIL's timeshare. We changed plans & are now flying in at 7 pm so there's not much time to get our bearings ahead of time. Just don't want to start the trip fighting w/hubby over finding out where to go.

Thanks for the correction Shafke, I was thinking that since you look DOWN from the monorail that it is lower than floor 4.

Nice, the Westgate Villas are on Old Lake Wilson Rd or CR 545 for short. You are really close to Disney property. Closest, actually to AK and AKL. If you took 545 towards 192, took a left onto 192, then the first right onto Sherberth Rd, you will go by Company D and come out right "between" AK and AKL. Take a right and AK will be on your left. Take a left and AKL is RIGHT there.

You may already know this and I am sure they will tell you at the Villas. It is a nice easy way onto the Property.
