So, i am About to make ADRs. so far i think i want to do

1900 Park Fare 1st day-AK day(not sure of best time and should I drive my car or bus to MK then to Floridian?)

Chef Mickey's 2nd day-MK day(not sure of best time)

Cape May 3rd day-MGM day (not sure of best time either)

Any advice helpful. I am so indecisive! I don't even know if I should do them am lunch or pm?!! I was thinking maybe do dinners the first two days and late lunch at Cape May but then I would need to cut into the park time.

oh and my MK day, should we go to the resort-POP for a rest....
It will be Me, 2year old daughter, and 70 year old grandma.

Thanks!!! :sunny:

Hi there

If I was planning to do AK on 1st day I would probably go there first & do Chef Mickey for Dinner - leaving 1900park fare for the MK day. You can have breakfast there & then jump on the monorail into the park.

As you can catch the boat to Cape May when at MGM it's up to you if you want to break your day up. i wouldn't but it's your preference. I'm sure you will have a great time whatever you decide.

Well, one small part of your decision is already made. None of the restaurants you've mentioned have "lunch". Only breakfast and dinner.

At 1900 Park Fair, if you want to see "Cinderella" and friends, you will have to go to dinner.
If you'd like to see Alice and Wonderland and Friends, you will have to go for breakfast.
Does that narrow down that decision to a meal???

For Cape May only breakfast is a character meal, dinner is a clam bake. Perhaps that narrows that one down too???

Chef Mickey is the same at either, of course with a different menu.

This should at least help narrow it down to ballpark times of day???

So, I can do:

Chef Mickeys- dinner

1900- dinner

Cape May- Breakfast

what are the best times at the restuarants for more character interaction?

thanks !!!

I think if you get and early or late reservation you will find the best character interaction. I have read posts about people making the latest reservation possible. At that point the restaurant is quieting down and the characters have a lot more time to spend with the remaining guests.
I also understand they do not rush you out so you can spend as much time as you like.
Also want to note that the Cape May Cafe is in the Beach Club. If you make an early reservation WDW provides early buses that start at 6:30am for the MK area breakfasts and 7:30am daily for the rest of WDW. You might have to take the bus to the Studios and then take the Friendship boat over to the Yacth/Beach clubs. If it's early the driver might be able to drop you off directly at the Beach Club if you tell him/her that you are dining there.
