Hey everyone this year we’ve been studying for promotional exams and they are the worst study for they are intrusive obscure and the questioning hard.

We wanna go on a Disney cruise to celebrate how hard we have dedicated all lives to this career so I had to cruise is booked for next year I had a question on another one that we’re going to take very soon so I need your opinion!

Halloween on the High Seas for both:

Option one: Sail on the Disney fantasy for seven nights we have been on the Disney fantasy before this February will Halloween on the high seas make any difference on the impact of the cruise or will it essentially be the same?

Option Two: Sail on the Disney magic a crusie ship I’ve never been on for 5 nights coming out if New York City to Bermuda for 5 days. I never been to Bermuda but I don’t get castaway cay with this sailing either.

Which one would you guys choose? Booking legit today with your suggestions.

Have you ever sailed on the Wonder? If you've never sailed on either classic ship, then I would definitely recommend the Magic just to do something different. Animator's Palate on the classics is a more special experience imo, and Tangled is a better show than Aladdin. The adult pool is better on the classics. The classics have hot tubs on the family pool deck. The Magic's Fathoms is nicer than the Fantasy's D Lounge for Bingo. I don't know if this is always the case, but when I sailed, the Pirate Night deck show was better on the Magic than on the Fantasy. Castaway Cay is my favorite port, but I've never been to Bermuda and would like to, just because it has to be a bit different from the Caribbean.

It's a hard choice since 7 nights is longer and CC is my favorite port, but in your shoes I would choose the Magic to Bermuda as long as the flight to NYC isn't too much longer for you than a flight to Miami. Also, sometimes I prefer a 5 night to a 7 night, anyway. 7 nights can start to feel repetitive towards the end if you've already sailed the ship and the same itinerary before. A HOTHS cruise has nice Halloween decorations, characters in their costumes, Halloween fireworks and a few extra activities. Other than that it's the same as a non-HOTHs cruise.

Halloween on the High Seas adds Halloween decorations all over the ship. There's a big pumpkin tree in the atrium, big jack-o'-lantern face decals on the port holes, and some other neat decorations, and there will be Halloween-themed treats at Cove Cafe and Cabanas.

One specific day is dedicated to Halloween. The drinks of the day will have a Halloween theme, the background music throughout the ship will include Disney Halloween songs, the characters will dress in Halloween costumes, and guests will be encouraged to dress in costumes, too. There's usually a showing of The Nightmare Before Christmas with some live effects and Jack & Sally are usually around for photos. You might get a surprise Halloween dessert at dinner, too!

Throughout the cruise, there will be some Halloween events. There's usually something for the Pumpkin Tree on the first day. On "Halloween", they'll have a Mousquerade Party (characters and costumes), Halloween-themed game shows and karaoke, Halloween crafts, etc. Later in the cruise, there's usually a ghost story event and sometimes they do a Halloween dessert cooking class, but I'm not sure if they've brought back the cooking classes, yet.

Anyway, you can see some example navigators from October, 2019 (the last real HotHS) at the following link. Activities with an orange background are the Halloween-themed ones.

I'm not sure that I can help you choose a ship, though. I was in a similar dilemma earlier this year. I "compromised" and decided on the 7-night Bermuda cruise on NYC on the Magic so that I could still have 7 nights. No Castaway Cay, though!

You guys give the most thoughtful insightful replies thank you so much helping me make this hard decision
You can't go wrong either way imo. Also, if you choose the 5-night, make sure it's significantly less expensive than the 7-night. I'd go with the 5-night but not if it was overpriced compared to the 7-night.

So I like time at sea so the Fantasy would be my choice. Those first few days of no connection, no pressure deadlines really allows me to let go and start relaxing immediately.

Even if you did the fantasy in February we did Star Wars day at sea! I just didn’t know if going on the same ship in the same year would spoil the fun
