? about tickets for 3 day land/ 4 sea

Hi,
I just booked my first disney cruise vacation. I am really excited. I booked the 3 day land and 4 day sea since this is our first time cruising I want to start off small. My question is actually about the park tickets. We check in at the hotel on a Thurs. and leave for the ship on Sun., are the park tickets good for Thurs.-Sun.? Thanks for all your help. Reading these boards sure does help.

So yes if you check in on thurs. and leave sunday you will have access to the parks thurs-sun. Our first cruise we did the land/sea and the folks at the poly were GREAT! Our plan arrived at 10am but check in was not until like 1:00 I beleive, they stored our luggage gave us our kttw cards and pointed us towards the monorail, we got a full day in at the parks right away!

When we did the land sea, I added another day by using a code to get a room at POR the night before, then I was at Poly at 6:30 am (I just couldn't sleep) to get our passes. Because we traveled during the slow season (and just after 9/11), our room was ready for us at 6:30 am. I went back to POR, got the family, and hit Epcot. Then on our last day, we used the ticket to go to MK for early entry, and ate at CP before heading over to the ship. I only wish we had really taken advantage of the UMPs--it was great park touring weather @80 degrees so we spent the time in the parks not in the water areas, or Disney Quest.

We basically did the same thing as NCRedding, except that we stayed the night before at a cheapo off-site motel. We picked up our passes and checked our bags first thing in the morning. In the heat of the summer, getting in the parks early is really important, plus since you're paying for a full day of the tickets, you might as well use them!
