About those blinking 100 years of magic pins . . .

OK, I admit I am totally out of the loop here. I haven't been keeping up with all the new pin info. like I should. Anyway, I just got my new Disney Magazine and read about the 100 Years of Magic pins that light up during certain rides, shows, etc. How cool! I have a few questions about them, though. Do you think these will sell out fast, or are they something that will be available all during the celebration? We are going in early December. Also, is there any way to get these in advance? Will we able to get them from mail order or anything like that? I am taking my little cousin and I would love to have two sets - one for him and one for me. I have a basket of Disney goodies to give him a few days before we go and I would love to have these awesome pins in it! Does anybody know how much they are going to sell for? Thanks!

I believe the retail price is about $16 per pin.
I don't think they will sell out because this is a whole new line of pins, and I'm sure they will produce that 100 years sorcerer's hat so that it is available throughout the 100 years celebration. Maybe they'll run short toward the end of 2002, but surely not in December of 2001.
The pin is plastic and larger than regular pins. It is not very heavy, and it has two pins to hold it in place.
Because it is plastic, it is not tradable with a CM lanyard.

and they had the BIG "100 Years of Magic" pin that is the "Sorcerer's Hat" Pin.

It is about 2" x 1 1/2", has the 3 blinking lights and retails at the parks for $15.99

I bought mine for $7.99
