? about the new TDS promotion

I just found out about TDS's promotion---


Spend $40 and get a $15 gift card or
Spend $30 and get a $10 gift card

I was wondering if this applied to the purchase of park passes. I know this has been a touchy subject in the past, but I think I do recall a deal similar to this a few years ago and we were able to buy our park passes and get the gift cards.

I can't say for a fact because I have not worked on stage since the promotion started, but I would guess rather firmly that the answer is no. The sale of passports and Disney $$ is something entirely separate from the merchandise that we sell on stage. Those numbers do not count towards our daily goals. When we give gift cards with movie pre-sales, such as you can' get now with Lilo and Stitch (when you spend $50 and pre-purchase the movie) you must spend $50 in merchandise, (incl the movie). Passports and Disney $$ do not count towards that total. Nor can you use your gift cards to purchase passports or Disney $$.

No park passes are not incl the gift card promotion. I was at TDS yesterday and read the very small print on the sign about the promotion.
