Can I buy them now and use them in 2008? Thanks in advance!!

So far we've all been told yes. I bought ours when the deal came out (Aug/Sep 2006) for our trip this August (2007). At the time there were many threads about it. I called and was told that it didn't matter when you used them, just that they were good for 6 more days after the first use, whenever that was. Several other people were told the same thing in emails or on the phone. People have used them this year (2007), so I can't imagine that you couldn't in 2008. The only hard part is that they're only available for on-site pickup, so you have to keep track of the same credit card to pick them up with that far in the future. But it sounds like you can always go to Guest Services and pick them up with your Driver's License if you don't have the same CC.

Another way around it if you're a AAA member is I hear now that you can buy it directly from AAA for the same price, and have your tickets in hand when you get there. Wish I'd been able to do that, just in case something happens and we can't go, I could always sell them on ebay or something. Now I'm stuck unless I can get down to FL!

Thanks for the answer. I am thinking of a Universal trip this December 30-January 2. Just wanted to make sure that they didn't expire before my trip.

85.00 tickets - why is it so cheap??? it seems like a scam???????

I called the number for customer service and had them mailed to us. Just got them in the mail today! No problem having them mailed.

Sorry just started another thread about this. Am planning a vacation over the x-mas holidays in 2007 and wanted to know if the tickets are good for that long. My questions though is up here with CAA they only have the 2 park 2 day pass with 3rd day free, not the unlimited up to 7 days. If they can mail them that would be better and if not when we go to WDW in March I could p/u the tickets then. How long do you think this deal is going to last??? I've noticed that it started last Augest 2006.

CAA up here does have the tickets. They are just a little more expensive. The is from the Southern Ontario site (www.caasco.ca)

2Park 7Day Ticket
Adult & Child (3+): Member Price $90.53 USD Gate Price $119.28
The 2Park 7Day ticket is valid for unlimited park to park admission to both Universal Studios Florida and Universal's Island Adventure theme parks plus the paid venues of Universal CityWalk over a 7 consecutive day period.

Any one have a clue how much longer they will allow you to purchase at this price. We are going in May an plan to buy these tickets but I sure would like to wait until next month to purchase. I bought our plane tickets and put the deposit down on a condo this month and would like to spread the spending out.

No one knows when it will end. It is just one of those deals that came up quickly and probably will disappear quickly and something new will come up like the kids free deal.

Damo, thanks. I couldn't find them on my sheet directly from CAA. When I go and p/u my tickets for WDW in a few weeks I will ask again. Also do you know if that deal in Canada through CAA is that till the end of the year or until quantities last. Last year I got BG tickets :scared1: (never again) and they said it was until they were all gone. The reason why is because I don't want to buy any until June for our December vacation.

Is that gone? I wanted to buy a 2-Park adult tic for $ 110 or so, and get a kids ticket for free...someone told me that deal was available...but I can't find it..anyone know anything about it ????

no scam here on that special.

my AAA magazine came and i just got around to reading it.

you can order from any AAA office if you are a member and receive the 7 day passes for #85 plus tax. no expiration dates on these passes.

to answer the one question above me, have not seen that special for buy adult ticket get child free. specials come and go.

don't panic though, universal is very good to its' guests and add or change promos frequently.

I'm not sure but I think as long as they are available through the universal website, they will probably be available at CAA.

i called AAA.
they are still available.

What you guys get in AAA isn't the same as what we get in CAA. Even within Canada the availability of things changes. Sometimes we get special deals just for Canadians and sometimes we get rotten deals just for Canadians.

you're right damo.
i keep forgetting that.

not that you are right(which you are in this case) but there is a difference on some of the specials by CAA and AAA

totally confused everyone now, eh.....:rotfl:

You are right. You have confused me!!!!:rotfl2:

I just bought mine today at my local AAA.

I know another thread, someone had asked about the tickets expiring...I just wanted to say there isn't anything about that on the tickets. except for the 6days use after 1st use and then it will expire.

the trip is starting to feel more 'real now....yeah ha:banana:
