??? about SW credits and expiration

A couple of years ago..I could not use our credit up before it expired and if you called you could get them to extend it for ???? so many months. I can't remember? Does anyone know?? Also if the credits are in my dh's name and he does not go on the trip say in May.....could I apply those to my reservation and the kids or does he have to travel too? Thanks

I had heard a while ago that they would extend credits for 6 months for a fee (I think $50). I'm not sure what their current policy is. And my understanding is that your DH's credit can be applied to a ticket for you or your kids.

Don't know about the expiration issue, as we'll be using up our credit for our January trip, but our credit is in my DS9's name and I had no problem using it...

If the credits are from a couple years ago, they would gone if you haven't kept renewing them for the fee. You could try to pull up the confirmation/reservation number to be sure. You can apply anyone's credit to a new ticket. You can combine several people's credits to a new reservation as well.

NO the credit is good until April 3rd. A couple of years ago...if you called they would extend that date for you. They would send you a voucher to use. I just can't remember how much longer they extended it. I want to say it was 7 months but you didn't have to pay a fee to do it back then.

The extension is for 6months and less $50 per reservation #. they also told me that they are completely transferrable into others. You can't get the extension til they expire so in your case you won't be able to extend them until April 3rd
