What exactly is supposed to be included?

I looked online and it shows milk and apples in the pictures but doesn't say anything. Usually I just get DS6 a 12 inch sub and we take it to go but I wanted the cute bag they had so got the kids meal. I asked what came with it and he said milk or juice and that was it.

It seems every subway we go to is different. I tend to ask because I am so clueless as to exactly what comes with it. I feel like I just threw almost $5 away!

The meal definitely should have come with some sort of side and a drink. Mine lets my kids get chips, apples or a cookie.

At Subway in our area you get milk, juice box or small pop and either apple slices or a cookie.

I have found it depends on the worker! Sometimes they give the small sandwiches sometimes a 6 inch. One girl that gave me the 6 inch said it is a waste to do the smaller because she just throws away the cut off part anyway.

We normally get the sandwich, a drink and either chips or cookie. Sometimes the toy is what really is off. We either get all the toys, NO toys or one toy. :confused3

Thanks for the responses. I think it probably depends on the worker/store then around here too. Atleast I know next time to ask about a "side" of some sort. I started to but he was so nice and I was hungry and wanted to get home. Not like me! I felt stupid if I asked again since I had already asked what came with it. That is what I get for buying it for the toy!

I did notice he took the bread (12 inch) and cut it in half and then threw away the end after cutting off the little knob part. I would have eaten it!

You should have gotten a side, but what it should have been depends on the location.

For kids' meals, our Subway recently reduced the number of options for sandwich types (now it's just ham or turkey--used to be you could pick tuna or roast beef), reduced the drink selection (now it's just plain milk or a juice box, used to be you could pick soda or chocolate milk if you wanted), has only apples for the side (used to be you could pick yogurt or raisins) and elminated the toy and special bag completely.

AND they raised the price.

I just ate a kids meal for dinner. LOL.

I got a special canvas bag, a small sub, apples and a juice box.

Mr. Bowen9475 here. I am a Subway franchisee and would like to set the record straight as to what should be in a Subway kids meal. They include a 4-inch sub, single meat, and either a cookie, apple or yogurt for a side, milk(regular or flavored) or juice box for a drink. It is meant to be a healthy option. Most stores will allow a fountain drink on request. Right now the new reusable "Wildlife" bags with a trading card inside are considered the "toy". These should be consistent in all U.S. stores. Raisins are discontinued.

Is the little canvas bag nice, as in heavy duty type canvas or thin, will rip in no time type canvas?

I thought it was cute. I am easily entertained with stuff like this though! it seems to be made from the same type fabric that reusable shopping bags are made from. Velcros shut on top and then had a loop like handle. I think it makes the perfect reusable lunch sack to be honest! My DS6 wasn't as nearly as impressed as I was! He was in it for the food! LOL!
