We actually have 3 different reservation numbers for our Dec trip to SSR & BWV. (we added a day at the beginning of our trip and dropped one off the end.) Our window for making ADR's is next Monday. But with 3 different reservation numbers, will we be able to book ADR's for 90+10?

according to member services if separate reservations are "linked", one should be able to do the 90+10

they did have some glitches early on where "linked" reservations were not recognized

you should call MS to explore this

I have a split stay in November and the online ressie did recognize the 90+ BUT if you call, the cm system will only recognize the 90 day window for that particular ressie and not the second ressie if that window did not open so my recommendation is to just do it online

This is a point of concern for me, too. I booked a stay at BLT in December and for some odd reason, I was given two different reservation/confirmation numbers. I'm staying in the same room for the entire stay, so it's not like I'm changing from Bay Lake view to Magic Kingdom view. My fear is that I wouldn't be able to book the 90 +10 for the entire stay.

Much like the OP, I also added to the end of the trip. We threw a two night stay at BWV on at the end. Given that I will be there over Christmas, I'm exceptionally skeptical when I talked to a DVC member services and they said that the computer would "see" that the reservations are all linked. She stated that was part of the new upgrade to the dining system - that it could see that if you had a split stay, they were really all linked together.

I guess only time will tell. She said that a CM at Disney Dining should be able to see this and booking with a CM would be no problem. Again, I'll believe it when I see it.

i was wondering about DVC stays where 1 night is resort stay pre the main DVC trip...not sure if those can be linked or not:confused:

Good question, I plan to call DVC back in just a bit to find out. I booked a night at the Dolphin prior to our actual DVC stay for Christmas. We are only about 10hrs drive time away and with the $129 teacher rate for a room at the Dolphin, it made just as much sense to just push on through and stay on property rather than staying at a Fairfield Inn in Ocala. I want to see if that will be "linked" for our December trip. If it is, then I can book starting Sept. 21st for our 9 day trip! More later when I get done with the call.

Ok, I just talked to two entities: Disney Dining and DVC Member Services. Disney Dining said the ressies will NOT show up as linked. Even though I'm staying 8 continuous nights, I will only be able to book at the 90+10 window for each reservation.

DVC Member services, however, said that if I call them for the dining reservations, their system is different and I will be able to book all my dining for all my nights with them.

Another stellar example of classic Disney disconnect.

Ok. I just did this. I have what is considered a split stay but both reservations were linked. Now... when I called the dining line they told me they could not do it but I was able to book everything online for my entire stay. :goodvibes I dont know why because I would think the CMs are working from the same system but apparently not. So I would try online first but call Disney to make sure your ressies are linked.

I spoke to member services and was told that they weren't allowed to book 90+10 for a split stay. So I would have to wait until my booking window opened up for each reservation.
Disney dining and member services can both physically book 90+10 for a split stay but they are not supposed to do it as it is not how the system works. So if you have a split stay you are at the mercy of the individual cast member. Some will do it, some won't!

i called MS this afternoon & was told u could link DVC ressies but not mixture of resort & DVC:confused3

i suggested to my DIL that she just try & book her entire stay when she books her 1st day ADRs for her 1 night @ value, can't hurt to try imo

Oh, this is precious! I called and talked to DVC MS today with this very question (trying to get the definitive answer, as I can book on Labor Day morning). I was told that I will be able to make ADRs for my first half of the stay, then I'll have to wait until the 12th to make the end of the trip ADRs.

Why oh Why can't they all give the same answer?! Obviously, I want the answer to be 90+10, even if I switch resorts. But some consistency people!

whew, I feel better. I'll just hope for the best & try to book everything on Monday morning.

The online system was allowing you to book 90+10 for a split stay, but they have now changed it so it only allows you to book up to 3 days after your checkout date. This should be fine if you are doing a short trip with 2 or 3 nights at different resorts or an add on at the start or end of your trip but no use for me as I have 2 ressies for 9 nights each.

Ignore my last post. I have just tried again and it let me book 90+10. It seems there is no system to the system!!

Great post--I was just coming to ask the same thing:goodvibes. We're picking dates for January and want to do one night at a value or mod before moving over to a deluxe for the rest of the day. If we can make all our ressies at the 90 day mark for the first night that would be sweet  because otherwise we're going to end up with October 27 as our 90 day mark :scared1: so we'll be in with everyone else who opens up on that date due to the change back to 180 days.

the supervisor who we spoke to today seemed to maintain tnat NO one is able to book 90 + 10 online OR has been able to since the inception of 90 + 10, that it could only be done via PHONE ( the computer system "is" having problems with this )

Today it would not even recognize our reservation this morning

this was a supervisor/guest relations we got when we called 1-407-939-3463 about not being able to do 90 + 10 online this morning ( although others were posting they had no problem getting 90 + 10 )

I spoke to a supervisor yesterday who told me that I would have to pay OOP for all the 90+10 ADRs I had booked, even though we have the dining plan. Because whoever booked them must have circumnavigated the system as I am not eligible for 90+10 as I am on a split reservation. I am sure this is not true, so supervisors know diddly squat and I would take everything they say with a pinch of salt.
Whatever! I am hopping mad.:scared1: I feel like I am being treated like a 2cnd class citizen even though I have taken annual 3 week trips to Disney (sometimes biannual) since1994 and have been a DVC member since 1998 and am paying for the dining plan (a lot of $$ for a 3 week trip). So :badpc: to Disney.
