We met Shrek on our last visit and although we'd heard that Princess Fiona was out that day, we didn't actually meet her. I've heard people saying recently that Donkey is sometimes out as well - is this true? :confused3

Are there any other characters from the Shrek movies out and about? (Puss-In-Boots, for example.)

Also, is Princess Fiona a "face" character or is she in her "ogre" guise?

I appreciate any information you can give me about the Shrek characters - DD would be thrilled to meet them all - no matter who is available when we visit! :teeth:

Donkey and Shrek were out at the same time while we were there this week. I didn't see Fiona this time. Last time I saw her she was a very pretty face character. I didn't see any other Shrek characters.

Princess Fiona is a face character - she's the Princess Fiona before her Ogre transformation. Generally Shrek and Donkey have a set schedule that is printed on the Park Maps. Princess Fiona is there quite often but I notice I don't see her as much. If Shrek or Donkey are in back making waffles the handlers and photo people can tell you when they are expected back out front.

I LOVE the Donkey! He makes the Henchmen/Squires laugh even though we see/hear him all the time.

Shrek and Donkey were out 2 weeks ago, but we were told Fiona was taking a nap.

Thank you so much for the great details :thumbsup2 - between Shrek, Scooby-Doo and Madagascar characters, DD will be thrilled! :woohoo:

Where did you see Shrek and Donkey? My son loves donkey.

Opposite the Shrek gift store is the character area. When you come out of the ride you will see them.

We met all three last summer :teeth:

Donkey and Shrek come out at the same time. Princess Fiona comes out before them. Go stand near Donkey's stable and wait for their next appearance. Fiona will appear about five minutes before Donkey and Shrek.

Donkey is AMAZING. It was the absolute highlight of our Orlando trip.

Below is a photo of me (on the left) and my two sisters meeting Donkey...he was SO cool.
