Looking for feedback from people who have recently sold there DVC. Who did you go thru, did you get what you wanted for it, and did you have to pay alot in fees? Any advice would help.
We have bought and sold 2 very large DVC contracts through The Timeshare Store. I think they are the best! Jason did both of the sales. They handeled all of the paperwork seamlessly. You couldn't ask for a better group to work with.
Another post in favor of TTS. We sold a 100 pts contract for the asking price, 10%, and had our check within a month of when we began looking to sell it. It was SO easy! They were great!
We are looking to sell our pts also. Just wondering how long normally does it take to find a buyer? I think we are listing with TSS.Thanks for any help.
We sold a small BCV contract through TSS about a year ago, and it sold in a couple of hours. I think it was on the website for a few minutes and then it was sale pending. Very fast!!!!!!!!!!

I have not sold a DVC contract, but I thought about the process a bit: If you are selling a smaller contract, since will probably sell quickly I would probably just list it with one of the top 3 DVC brokers (Google: DVC resale and you'll get them all). If it was a larger contract and it was taking longer to sell, I would consider listing it with each of the top three brokers and see what offers come my way.
(Experienced sellers: I assume that there are no issues with listing with more than one broker).
Even though I used them to purchase a contract I would not use GMAC for a sale since GMAC transactions cost more (there is a $195 admin fee on top of the commission).
