Does it make sense to scheduled a Character Breakfast and a Character Dinner (or late lunch) in the same day? I don't expect to skip a meal entirely, but we'll most likely get snacks in between. Will this be character overload? I've tried to choose a variety of themes so it wouldn't be repetative.

For instance, here is the schedule thus far:

Tue - arrive at WDW Resort after a day at IOA/USF, check in to room, go to 1900 Park Fare at GF for Cinderella's Gala Feast (5:15-9pm).

Wed - tour Epcot in the AM, Princess Storybook breakfast (8:30-10:30). The plan is to leave Epcot around 2pm and go to DS, have a late lunch (11am-4pm) at 50's Prime Time Cafe. * I just noticed that this will be EMH day at Epcot. I was thinking of going late for breakfast and late to lunch at 50's, but I may need to rethink the timing. I was hoping to save $ by eating during lunch instead of dinner at 50's.

Thu - Begin the day at AK with breakfast at Rainforest Cafe, stay for the parade, then head over to Epcot in the evening where we would have an early dinner at the Garden Grill. I'm already considering deleting this one from the plan.

Fri - start the day with breakfast at Chef Mickey's and tour MK for the day, finishing with Crysatl Palace for dinner.

I have since switched Garden Grill at Epcot on Thu to the Clam Bake at Cape May Cafe instead. It's not a character meal, but it is a buffet. DH will enjoy the seafood selections and DD has plenty to pick from as well.

We previously did two character meals throughout the week. We started with DB on sunday and on Wed we were at LTT. I'm just hoping that as the Princess breakfast becomes more popular that I can get a PS.

Is there such thing as character overload?!! :D

And, your character meals are on the last day of your trip, so you leave on a character "high."

Have fun!

I don't think you will have to worry about character overload, but rather FOOD overload! LOL! If your family consists of Big Eaters, I don't see any problem at all. Hubby and I are Farm Folk and we can put away some chow, but I don't think we could do consecutive character meals.

I can see why you would want to do character meals more than one in a day, but remember those are "all you can eat" weither sit-down or buffet style. I would try to only do one character meal a day.

I don't think it would be character overload but maybe buffet overload. I actually like seeing the characters at the meals because then we don't have to track them down. My niece and nephew are 5 1/2 yo and would do character meals 2x a day everyday if we left it up to them. On our last trip we did average 1 character meal a day and by the end of the week I did not want to see another buffet. However, I am not a big buffet person and only do them a few times a year when not at WDW. Have fun it sounds like you have some good meals planned at some of my favorite restaurants.
