? about room keys/tickets/dining

It is my understanding that your tickets and dining are attached to your room key. It also my understanding that if you DON'T want the no expiration option that the ticket expire in 14 days. My question is this: If I want to stay at POP for 6 nights, I could purchase a 7 day ticket with dining which would be 6 counter service meals, 6 snacks and 6 sit-down meals for each of us in our party. BUT, if I want to move to a deluxe hotel for 3 nights following my stay at POP and have used all of my theme park options, but not all of my dining, would I be able to use the rest of my dining options at another hotel, if used before the 14 days, if it was attached to POP and we were no longer staying there? Does that make sense?

Reason is, we would like to stay at POP while we are doing commando parks, but would like to end our vacation relaxing at a nicer hotel with more amenities. We prefer to do mostly counter service while in the parks and I would like to save some of my sit-down meals for the later relaxing part of our vacation, but do not know if that would work. Anybody know? I was hoping it would work since it would still fall within the 14 days expiration, however, if it is attached to our room key, I am not sure. Thanks!

No, the dining portion is linked to the number of days at the hotel where the package is booked. On midnight the day you check out of the hotel where the package is the dining portion will go inactive and you will lose whatever you have not used. The tickets themselves are good for 14 days after the first use and can still be used if you have days remaining, but the dining portion is linked to the reservation directly and will void out.

Ok, now I am confused.

I thought the dining option was linked to the # of days your tickets were purchased for. For instance, I booked a hotel for 2 nights with a 3 day park ticket. It was my understanding that the dining went with the # of day the park ticket was for. If not that messes somehtings up for me.
