? About Renting Points

My parents have about 18 points left in their use year that ends Jan 31st and are wanting to rent them out. We're not real sure how this works. Can someone give me some info? And what is the difference if you rent them to someone who is not a DVC member and someone who is? HELP!

You can post your availability on that board. The difference in renting to a member or non is that you can- in some cases- merely transfer points to another member. For a non-member, you will have to make a reservation in their name, as they cannot use points themselves- only the reservation.

I read the FAQs page, but was a little confused. Can they sell their remaining points to another member or just transfer?

There are only two ways to use points- the member can either make a reservation with them or transfer them to another member.

In some cases it is impractical to transfer points and sometimes that would be the best way for the other member to use them.
