? about rening pts.

Hi, I hope this is the right place to ask this since I can not post in the renting section. I have points rented for an upcoming trip this Oct...and looking forward to it!!!
I would love to rent points for summer 08 as well. I am leaning towards VWL, OK so now here is the thing...
I know the DVC member can make the reservation 11 months out, so great I will look for a DVC member with VWL as their home resort...but when are the points released? I have checked the point chart and it is not updated yet with 2008 dates. How will it work? Anyone have an idea if the points run about the same?
Any other suggestions for me?

I am still trying to talk my DH into buying in...I figure if I can show him how great it is a time or two he will be more willing. TIA!

Points are the same year over year at DVC resorts - generally speaking. Unless you are looking at Easter when the season moves around to follow the holiday. So if you are looking at the second week in June, those points are the same.

Points for non-DVC options (cruising, stays at the Poly, stays at Breckinridge) change from year to year.
