I was about to preorder our photpass cd when I noticed there's an option to purchase a photobook for an additional $50. Seems steep to me because I know I could order something similar but much cheaper through other photo sites, but I did like the Disney character clip art added to the pages that you couldn't add using a different company. I typically scrapbook our photos & journal our trip. Not sure if I want to give up this creative aspect, but this route seems much easier and will force me to make it in a timely manner.
For those of you who have ordered the photopass book through Disney, were you pleased with it? Were there several options for backgrounds and clip art? Was the cover nice? Basically, did you feel like it was worth the money? Thanks for the help!

I have never ordered the photobooks, but have ordered the cd for the past 2 trips. IMHO, I think the $50 price is too much. If you buy the cd with the photos, you can add frames and character signatures.

With sales and coupons, I think you could buy several photobooks from other sources for $50! Check out Artcow. They are based in Hong Kong and it takes about 2 weeks to get here, but they have many coupons and when you sign up I think you get a free photobook. (and more!) They often have free shipping with codes or sales. One time they had a handful of free photobooks, all you paid was shipping.

I have ordered from them 2x and was very happy with the items. (mousepad with WDW pictures and a makeup case)
