Anybody know where I can get plain 12 x12 cardstock in single colours (in bulk - 25 or 50 sheets)? All I can seem to find online is the Bazzill.

I've been buying the assorted paper packs at ACMoore and Michael's. Problem is I've run out of Red, Green and Brown. I have tons of everything else, so I don't want to get the assorted and end up with more of what I don't need.

TIA

Rhonda

the only single color i found was black and white packs at m's. i have found some other colors at big lots every now and again.
so i'm really no help!:rotfl:

There is a great scrapbook store in Derry NH, Scrapbook Island. They have a great selection of single 12x12 cardstock. They are located right in the center of town not far off of exit 4.

Too bad you didn't hit the stores after Christmas. I got some great multi-packs of cardstock at ACM after Christmas. It was three shades of green, two or three shades of red, cream, and brown. I bought two or three packs. And it is NICE heavy textured cardstock (although at the moment the brand is not coming to me). I will check when I get home if you want... maybe you could still find some around.

I have had some luck at Big Lots... navy, light blue, sage green, grey, raspberry, are the colors I know I have found in big packs... usually $2 for 25 pieces. It is a GREAT deal and I usually snap up several packs whenever I see it. And it has always been a great heavy cardstock.... sometimes textured like Bazzills.

I agree though, it is difficult to find packs of solid cardstock, single color. And the Bazzills is prohibitively expensive!

I do buy multicolor packs sometimes if that is all I can find and I am desperate for a color, but I end up with lots of a few colors that I don't use much, like orange. I sometimes give it away to my nieces who LOVE to receive free scrapping stuff. Or I will challenge myself to use one or two colors that I have in abundance on at least two layouts. I helps me jump out of my "same-old, same-old" comfort zone and uses up supplies at the same time!

Good luck....................P

Mouse memories will sell you as much single colors as you want - it's less expensive than bazzil I think it's ether prima? prizm? or pizzazzill. cuts nicely on the cricut too.

Do I hear the magic words..."FIELD TRIP?"

WOW! There's a Cracker Barrel restaurant (there aren't many of these in New England...yum!) in Derry right at exit 4 - if my arm was twisted in just the right way, I might just be interested in a little trip...:rolleyes1

CM sells individual colors in 12 x12 size, 10 pages to a pack.

Why did not someone tell about about the scrapbook store in Derry when I was going up there every weekend last fall? :confused3 ;) :rolleyes1

Did you check J's?

I have 50 packs of single colors 12x12 and 8 1/2 x11 (which I use often for swaps) in red, green, black, white, cream, kraft brown. Most of this I got during the holiday season. I waited for a 50% sale and then I got 10 each of red, black, and white and maybe only 5 of the green. Around Halloween, they had the 50 packs in orange, purple, black, white and green. Not sure if they do this around other holidays too. I did notice some at a J's yesterday, porbably what was left over.

I like the "value" cardstock for the cricut. I think it just cuts easier and dulls the blade less. I also like it better in the cuttlebug. I make about 120 Christmas cards, so I definitely need the value paper for that.

THe color of the J's cardstock is more vibrant than the equivalent at ACM IMO. I did ask the store manager at ACM to order packs of white & black -- this over a year ago. To my surprise he did and I guess it sold well because they still do carry it. However, the black is not a very dark black - -I like to use it if I am going for a distressed look and the white is not very white.

I'll spring for the coffee if you take her. :thumbsup2

Thank everyone...I broke down and bought some value packs at ACMoore today (dh and 2 kids - all of us with 50% off qs). But maybe I can convince PBF (pinballfamily) to go to J's with me and maybe a field trip off of exit 4;) AWM you can come too:goodvibes

Umm....HELLO... I know EXACTLY where the Cracker Barrel is!! I'd love to
be invited on the Field Trip!.........P

You could throw a rock from that Cracker Barrel and hit the LSS. I've done both (although I was underwhelmed by the restaurant.) It's a good store - definitely worth the drive up. My DH really liked the comfy chairs in their crop room. ;)

I was shopping at Tuesday Morning today and they have packs of double-sided patterned paper from American Crafts for $1.99.* There are 25 sheets in the pack and it's heavy card-stock paper.* It's all the same pattern in the package and many of them are kind of :scared1:, but some aren't bad.* The best bit is that the back side of the paper is solid colors (yellows, red, greens, tan, black, purple, orange, pink, etc.).* I picked up a few packs of the colors I use the most since it was such a good deal.
