We usually like to park our car at HRH and not budge off of UO property until it is time to go home.

My son is 11 years old. He loves UO (I once asked him if he felt badly that we have not been to Disney and he replied that after UO, Disney seems too "babyish") He also is a big fan of the pirate genre. My question is this. For a kid accustomed to the thrills of UO, how would the Pirate's Dinner Adventure measure up? Is it worth leaving the mecca that is UO for?

I was thinking an evening at PDA would be a nice surprise for my son. We'll be at HRH 2nts with 3 days at UO. I know my son would eat B,L & D at NBA City if we let him. Any thoughts?

I love that show. It's so much fun. It's just a short drive away from Universal, too. It is worth checking out, the food is good, the show is fun, and after the show is over, they turn the preshow area into a dance party area!

And I've heard that ever since POTC came out in theaters, PDA has had a huge increase in attendance.

Pirates are in this year, folks. It's gonna be the big thing for Halloween.

I think he would love it. We were just there in March and my 8 and 13 yr old loved it. I didn't think the actual dinner was all that great, so make sure you check out the appetizer buffet while your waiting.

I say go-! I worked there for two years and it was a blast to perform! I highly suggest going, especially if you have kids that are into the pirate thing. There are also several different times in the show to get the whole family involved!
Very fun!
