?? about new resort mugs

Haven't read anything about this...... are the new RFID mugs( with the chip in them) dishwasher safe?? Can they be used in a microwave? Not that I will be doing either while on vacation, but certainly will at home. Guess it wouldn't matter if the chip got ruined, because mine would be length of stay mugs, so wouldn't need the chip anymore. would it damage the mug?
I'm certainly overthinking this, lol!!!

I read you can't put the mugs in the microwave and if you do it will fry the chip and they won't replace the mugs even if you gave a receipt for the mug.I never tried to replace mug since I like cold drinks.

I just saw on another site where it said the mugs can't be put in the microwave. I don't know about the dishwasher.

As the PP said, they cannot be microwaved, but they are dishwasher safe (top rack) (at least at home). I have a mug from when the All Stars were testing the system a while ago and those mugs did fine in the dishwasher. I don't know if putting it in the dishwasher does anything to the RFID chip.
