? about missing the ship

They will wait a limited amt. of time BUT they ARE on a set schedule. When leaving Port Canaveral, due to the increased security, all of the cruise ships must leave within a certain time window as local traffic is halted and the ships all receive a Coast Guard escort to the ocean.

We were on the 9/7 eastern & we did leave some people behind in St Thomas - our room was directly over the boarding ramp & behind the exterior bridge station & I have some great shots of the bridge crew looking at their watches repeatedly and even sounding the horn an extra time before the harbor master finally told them that we had to go.

Ooh! We were on that Magic Cruise too. We heard them continually page the 2 families. Do you know what happened?

I would love to see the pix you mentioned. Are they posted anywhere?

We also heard that it was 2 different staterooms but never got anything "official".
I haven't gotten the pictures posted yet. Digital cameras are great but I took over 1400 pictures so I'm still sorting! I will try to post some in the trip report board later this week.

Too funny. We went to the Contemporary after we got off the ship too. SMALL WORLD. Glad you guys had fun.
