I am so confused about something that is probably so simple:confused3 With our package we got Mickeys Morning Toontown Madness and one Magic Morning...

Could someone explain how this works to me? Do we use them on the same day? Or do we do one, one day, and the other the next?

Can you get into the park early with just the Toontown Madness....or do you use the magic morning to get in and then the toontown to get into there? Again, sorry if I am making this much more confusing than it needs to be!

Magic Mornings are typically Sun, Tue, Thu & Sat and starts 1 hour before opening. Toontown Morning Madness is typically Mon, Wed, Fri & Sat and starts AT opening.

I have to be dumb because I cannot find anywhere on the Disney parks site when the morning toontown madness is on the days I will be there. Does Mickey's toontown usually open an hour later than the park (to the people without the toontown madness passes)?

Try the fine print on this page:

And, yes, Toontown usually opens later that the rest of the park.

OP do you happen to be staying onsite?

If so, I just want to let you know you can take part in all the Magic Mornings during your visit. You aren't limited to only one as the DL website suggests. From check in to check out all you need is park admission and your room key.

With Mickey's Toontown Madness you are limited to only one, since it requires a ticket and the package includes one per ticket per person.

We are staying at the Embassy Suites North. So we just get one. While I have you smart people here....what is the prefered seating for the shows? I read that we get this with our package and I was wondering how it worked for Aladdin (for example)

That is the only prefered seating ticket that is really worth using. Maybe. It lets you sit in the orchestra seating. This is nice because the show comes in to the audience.

There is one scene that you miss sitting down there, but it's not currently happening so it won't matter.

Yes, Toontown always opens 1 hour after the park opens. Which means that Toontown Morning Madness starts WHEN the park opens.

If you do Toontown Morning Madness on a regular park opening day, then you would head straight to Toontown as soon as the park opens and spend the first hour there, before anyone else can get in.

If you do Toontown Morning Madness on a Magic Morning and you have Magic Morning, then you would do the Fantasyland/Tomorrowland rides that are open during Magic Morning for the first hour, then head to Toontown for the second hour.

We found it worked well to do Toontown Morning Madness on a Saturday when we had both Magic Morning and Toontown Morning Madness. We did our Fantasyland rides from 7-8 during Magic Morning, then headed to Toontown for Morning Madness at 8.

Hope that helps! It is a little confusing!

I am glad I am not the only one who thinks it is confusing! I think I will do them both on the same day. That seems the most efficent way. How do I find out which days have the TMM?

As has already been mentioned in an earlier post above, Toontown Morning Madness is Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. Magic Mornings are Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. If you want them on the same day, it would have to be a Saturday.

According to the disney site everyday we are there is a magic morning day. So, I didn't know if the Toontown Morning Madness days were different durning the holidays too. Those days do not show up on the calendar (or at least I have not found it).

What are the dates of your trip? Sometimes if there is a special event, MM days will change just for a day or so, but I want to confirm that's what happening. When you look at the Disneyland calendar and just roll over the day, the pop-up panel says "Magic Morning Hours" under park hours, but if you click on the actual day, it will say "Magic Morning Hours: Not Available Today". Is that what you're seeing?

Darn, can't remember where I read it, but I do remember noting on one of the websites last week that Disney is reportedly offering Magic Mornings everyday between Christmas and New Year's this year, so if this is official it may very well be showing up on Disney's calendar that way. Don't have anything to offer about the Toontown thing.

We will be there the 25th-29th of December. Am I not looking at this correctly?

Make sure if you are showing up for TTMM that you bring your tickets. I forgot mine last time in the hotel and I couldn't get in. I was bummed.
