How did you find this show? My kids both LOVE anything motor-related (monster trucks, race cars etc...), so I think this would be up their alley. However, how loud is it?
my son was 3 when we went last year... and this was like the one thing that trip that he really cared about HAHA he was in awe the whole time, if the cars went behind the scenes for a second he would ask where they were. when it was over, he asked to watch it again! LOL
that said... he's not one thats super sensitive to loud noises or things like that... it is loud. it depends on your kids i guess. you could always get a seat that would be easy to leave if they got scared or anything. its not one of those where you would be "stuck" there the whole show.
I perceive the dB level to be lower than a race at a race track since most if not all the engines are motorcycle engines to reduce weight in the vehicles. I would guess it would also be less than monster trucks though I have never been to one of those events.
It is loud-- but not so loud that I would be concerned with hearing unless a child has specific sensitivities to sound.
Okay, thanks. DS has SPD, so is very sensitive to noise, but he was able to handle the Monster Jam show last year. We just put the soft ear plugs in his ears and then the heavy-duty headphones over. So maybe we'd bring those. But he saw some photos of the show and is dying to see it.
It's fun! DH was a big kid when we watched it! DD was 3 and she enjoyed it to... She's sensitive to noises and had no issues... Plus Lighting MQueen made a special appearance!
