? about Kenny - Tee Time

We hate to cancel, but we just hate to leave the Disney bubble once we are there. We will just have to make due, and maybe rent a cart from Disney in our no park days only.

Any new updates? We are coming this Oct/Nov, and will be flying in, so will have no way to get off the Fort to meet Kenny. We have rented from him before, and want to give him our business! TIA! :)

I refer all the quests renting my trailer to Kenny. He is a little hard to reach but has always provided my customers great service. I would wait a bit before cancelling as he is usually booked all of October.

We booked with Kenny at the end of August and we are told to pick up the cart outside of the fort and we can borrow the trailer with the cart on it, drop off the cart at our campsite and return the trailer to him. But we are also driving to the fort and will have a hitch already to tow it.

I used his website to request a cart for my dates Oct 10th-18th yesterday. Nothing as of yet, maybe I should call....

I used the website and called both. It took him 2 weeks for him to call me back. I knew before I called that it takes him a while to get back to you that's why I called 9 months before our trip lol. It's all good though and we were able to reserve 2 carts with him. He was very pleasant on the phone and answered all of my questions. Hang in there... :)

Wow, I used his website request yesterday and called him this morning @ 8:30. Just got a call back and reserved my car :cool1:

They did say that they would have to meet me outside Disney property and I would hook up his trailer and drive it in myself. She also said that is someone is checking out that same day that they would work out another deal where it could be left at FW and I would pick it up. Only time will tell, but it was super easy.

8 days @ $32.71/day + tax/delivery = $280.00 :thumbsup2

What a mess !!! Now you have to meet a mile away to pick up cart if you even can!
I am so frustrated that once again disney has their hand open and their heart closed for those folks on a budget!!! I just spoke to Kenny's a Assistant and cancelled my request . You only have a limited time as it is I don't want to be running all over the buena vista area getting a cart then returning it! So we will be bringing bikes and praying for perfect weather!!!

1) Disney is in the business of selling Disney goods/services.
2) Outside services can hurt sales/profits.
3) No outside golf cart companies can simply bring carts onto property.
4) Only the site/cabin renter can bring their own.
5) Thus, you meet the service off-property and bring in the cart(s).
6) As mentioned by Bama Ed, if the cart is already there, no one notices.
7) So, you can simply jump in and drive when the previous guest abandons it.
8) Not really a "mess", just business. (OK, so it is a little messy.)

We are saving over $250 by renting with Kenny. That savings is def worth the minor inconvenience of meeting a mile down the road (if that) Plus there is a high chance that the cart will already be in the campground from a previous renter the week before. Doesn't bother me at all but we all have our our own limits lol.

Just reserved our cart with Kenny for November and yes I was told the same thing. She checked the schedule and was able to tell me that as of right now we would have to meet Kenny offsite to pick the cart up but that on the day that we are leaving there are others coming into the fort with cart reservations so we can leave the cart there. She said that they will know closer to our check in day if we will have to meet offsite or if someone will be checking out as we are checking in. Huge savings for minor inconvenience.

Quick question. We would like to use Kenny for golf cart rental but we don't have a vehicle that can tow (we will be driving our honda accord to the Fort). With the new policy should we just pay the ridiculous Disney prices and use their golf carts or does anybody have a better suggestion?

Not sure about Kenny without a tow vehicle (he never responded to my inquiry) but I was able to book with beach line for my visit this month and not having a tow vehicle was no problem.

I need to rent 2 from 12-6-14 thru 12-13-14. I just filled out his contact form online. I hope I hear back.

Folks,

People have reported the best success at reaching Kenny via the phone number on his website usually in the morning, say 8-10am. It may take repeated attempts. Not making excuses for him, but in this age of Amazon shipment tracking giving you instant status on your order, Kenny is NOT that way.

I put some ideas in the other golf cart thread about options without a vehicle but they aren't good ones.

I don't rent or use carts often at the Fort but when I have I've gotten them from Kenny. I do without otherwise because I won't pay the Disney rate.

I have a reservation with Kenny made a year ago for two carts, but not until October! Hope he can honor that one.

My experience last October was with Central Florida Golf Carts, (who I DO NOT recommend, BTW). Their method was to call and have you meet at the nearby pet kennel (Best Friends Pet Care) parking lot. Then they would get a KTTW card from you (you were supposed to bring an extra one for them). That way they could get in to drop off and pick up the cart.

Thanks again for the heads up! :hippie:

Please share your tea time experience, we have always used cfgc with no problems.

We ended up renting the cart from Disney. It was the least hassle method and probably the way we will go in the future, too. Our original cart was driven to our site by a cast member who brought it right back saying it was not driving quite right. So they issued us a brand new one and he drove that to our site. It was a good spend for the convenience. ::yes::

Kenny is doing everything to follow rules issued by Disney and he will not deliver onto WDW property. It is probably best we not discuss this any further on this site. He has requested that you contact him with any questions.
