You know, the one I can't say the name to here. My 15yo son is tormenting me about this one. I have been saying no no no. His whole cross country team is going to go. If you have seen it, is it really that bad. Stupid, and gross is ok, but sexual content is not. Some language would be allright, but not constant and real extreme. I don't plan on seeing it myself. I would like to say, go see the dumb thing. Any thoughts??

Here's a link to a helpful website that will show you the ratings for the movie. It should help you to decide.

If you feel the need to guard you child from "the truth" then I wouldn't suggest letting him see the film. I see nothing wrong with Vulgar language, or sexual content. They're both a part of life. But if you don't want your son to see that, then don't let him watch it.

I don't think Jack*** is real life. Vulgar language in an appropriate situation, or sexual content in an appropriate situation, or if it is in the wrong context, then at some point it is treated as wrong. I can't control everything my kids see or hear, the live in the world every day. But if I say that it is ok then I have a responsibility for what it is. What they see on their own is different. I am helping to shape the men my sons become. I want them to be good boyfriends/husbands/fathers some day not to view women as objects who they can treat badly. If I rented it on video then we would be able to discuss it.
But, as I was saying, I don't think too many people act like Bam in real life.
