? About HS Musical DVDs

My dd has fallen for HSMusical this year and checks it out at the library any chance she gets. She is so excited about the second one coming out next month. I want to buy the first one for her birthday. Can someone tell me the difference between HSM Encore and Remix?

Remix has extra bonus features. I believe it includes a sing-along and dance along version of the movie as well as some different songs. Both versions include the original version of the movie, so you're not losing that by buying either version. I bought the Remix edition which is the newer one and have really enjoyed the extra features.
