I booked a last minute trip today because I want to go to the HP Expo. I can go either Saturday or Sunday. I'm not really interested in the other activities, but I would like to see the Expo and maybe buy a few prints if they are available. Is there any advantage to going Saturday over Sunday? Do the prints sell out quickly? I couldn't get the HP package, so is there a better time to go when the lines are shorter?

I went last year and didn't notice any of the prints selling out. I bought the print made just for the event at Filch's Emporium months after the event was over.

Saturday will most likely be more crowded than Sunday.

Are you 100% sure the expo is open to people who didn't buy the package?

I went last year (as a regular AP holder without the package). You could get into the expo (which is in the event soundstage right next to the NY Public Library facade), the package holders were able to get into an "express" line to be let in more quickly, but that was about it They let more people in as others left it.

What type of prints did they have? Is there just one or different ones? I have a HP theme in my den and wanted to pick up a couple of prints that I could frame and put on the wall. Is there any other HP celebration specific items that you bought last year that I shouldn't miss? I think we might go for a few hours on Saturday just to go to the expo and then go back for rides Sunday-Monday. I figured maybe people would go back home Sunday for the Super Bowl.

The prints are all by MinaLima, the graphic designers for the films- you can search online for their website which sells their prints to see what they have. I bought the print they designed specifically for the celebration that I thought was stunning. It was $75, so a little steep but totally worth it. Other celebration items I noticed were a pin (which I bought) and a shirt.
