? about how to use a CDN$ Disney gift card

Hi everyone. If I have a $100 (in CDN$) Disney gift card and I want to use it to pay for a meal at WDW and the meal costs over $100 USD, when I provide the gift card, will the cast member tell me what my gift card is worth in USD and I can just pay for the difference using another method?

They just scan it through and give you a receipt with the balance still owing. We did this at 1900 Park Fare over Xmas. My daughters were given a $150 Canadian gift-card to put toward a character breakfast by their grandparents - it came to $136US, so I paid the remainder + tip in cash.
