? about having merchandise waiting for us after check in at OKW

We are renters on this upcoming trip but have now actually become DVC owners!! We check in on Saturday at OKW and are wondering if it's possible to have a Cinderella dress waiting for our daughter in the room since we will be crunched for time when we get there. Will World of Disney send a dress to OKW and have it waiting in our room? Am I able to call and do this since I'm technically renting the room from a member? Does the member have to call to do this? Is it possible at all? Help!!

it is possible. but it probably won't be in your room - but when you check in ask for it.

they can't guaranteed you a certain room - so just ask the front desk for it when you check in.

when you order it from World of Disney give them your reservation number and date of arrival plus your name - not to mention the resort....(sometimes I forget the silly things)

Last year we had a Pal Mickey waiting in our room for our daughter but we were staying at the Contemporary. Not sure whether it's possible when staying in DVC. Call the hotel directly and speak to someone at the front desk, they should be able to help you.

I just called OKW directly and they said that ordering a dress over the phone from World of DIsney and having it ready at check in is something that they don't do.?!?! Should I call World of Disney directly? Did I just talk to a CM that didn't know?

you talk to someone who doesn't know...

call world of disney directly and have them deliver it to OKW.

if they refuse - just go through - but they will not.

as many packages are deliver through the front desk - you think they realized that anything could be delivered.

You know package delivery when you are there are delivered through the gift shop not the front desk. but since you haven't arrived it should be the front desk.

Since you called OKW I would think that meant they won't do it, not World Of Disney. The Gifts of a Lifetime is your best bet.
