? about extra TS credits

I think I have just about everything figured out for our 8 night trip in May. Here's my only concern.

I have a feeling at a couple of these TS meals I have planned that one or more of us will not be using our dining credits--either by just ordering an appetizer or sharing a meal. That will possibly leave me with a couple extra TS credits left over.

Is there any TS restaurant that we can get into without ADR's if we see we are going to have some extra TS credits to use up? Anything that we can just walk up and not wait too long?

We had many ADR's made but then we had extra meals so, we walked up to plenty of TS restaurants and got straight in. Chef Mickey's (went on opening), Crystal Palace (twice in one week) both at lunch time, even with a cast member walking up the line saying walk ups will be a 2 hr wait there is nothing available and we waited and went up to check in and when people kept walking off at hearing this and we were seated within 5 minutes both times. Boma breakfast, Sci-Fi lunch, Cape May's (twice).

So it can happen, but there were two occasions on our last 21 night trip where we did not have any luck with walk ups so you just have to be prepared that if you go to that TS and there isn't any room, you have to walk and find somewhere else, but as you can see, we had two walk ups with no success and had at least 7 success's in 21 nights.

There is always something available somewhere, so long as you are flexible with where and when you dine that day. Call Disney Dining in the morning and ask what they have available at "Epcot" for that day. They'll be able to help you with the where and when.

Beaches & Cream is a good place to consider as well, they don't take ADR's at all and are a TS restaurant. Just try to dine at off times to minimize your wait.

I always make one extra ADR than the number of TS planned. Usually a breakfast on our departure day. If I have left over credits they get used if not we just pay OOP since breakfast us cheaper.
