Thanks in advance for anyone who can help answer my question.

Okay, we are traveling to Disney this Fall and I went ahead and bought MYW tickets for 10days. Three adult and one child. Now, we are only going to use 9 days, because we have a 9day/8night resort stay. So, that leaves us with one extra MYW day left on our passes.

Now the question....
My In-laws are visiting for a couple days for my DD6 birthday. They want to go to Epcot once...don't know about the other parks.

So, can they use our 10th (unused day) at Epcot? Will they get past the finger reader thingy's ok?

I'm not trying to cheat the system...just don't want to waist an extra day on our passes.

Thanks for your help!

1) The passes can not be transferred to another person.
2) If you try, they will NOT get past the finger reader.
3) There is a CHANCE they won't need to do the finger reader, but no way to know for sure.
4) By trying to transfer the pass you are trying to "cheat the system".

My .02... are you going to the parks all 9 days? Any plans to go to a waterpark/lazy hotel day/DTD? It might be worth considering to add the Non Expiration option for a future trip. You'd have to do the math.

Thanks Sam....yep! Your right...just got off the phone with Disney....the passes have our names on them.

Bummer....oh well!

Thanks

The price difference between a 9-day MYW ticket and a 10-day MYW ticket is currently about $3 per ticket (I think that is going up to about $5 per ticket for tickets purchased tomorrow or later), so you are not losing much value if you only use nine days. Adding no expiration to a 10-day ticket costs over $200 per ticket - a terrible value if you only have one day left.

Like you've found out already, you can't share tickets. You also can't use two "days" of your ticket on one calendar day and can't run it through more than once to get extra people in. I'm guessing your in-laws would be going to the parks with you?

There generally are not discounts on one day tickets - it will be about $85 each for a one-day ticket for your in-laws.

Thanks Stitchy.....

Appreciate the comments.

They are AAA customers....so they can get a discount from them! =))
