? about Ent. book mail-in rebate--Disney hotel

I just looked over on the Entertainment site, and it looks like I could book the Value resort hotels for the $68 special, then according to the website, I could send in for a mail-in rebate based upon the nights stayed.

My question is---is this a prepaid rate? The site says I have until 3 days before to cancel, but shouldn't it be 5 days. Also, has anyone actually done this with bookings for the Disney hotels? Almost any of them are showing up available for my dates, and I'm really tempted--'specially with the rebate.

So....can anyone help me?
