? about early check-in

We are scheduled to arrive at OKW May 6th for 4 nights. We are thinking of staying off site the 5th so we can hit a park on the 6th. My question is how early can we check in at OKW (knowing we would not be able to access our room until later) in order to take advantage of resort guest privileges? Or is this strategy a bad idea or even worth the effort?

We have been able to check in as early as 6:30am and were able to access our room as welll at check in at the BWV's one visit....
