About donating points....

I know there was a thread quite a while back about whether or not we can donate points to GKTW or like organization. I had borrowed points and haven't used them--don't know if I can plan something yet or not but I'd hate to totally waste them.

Can we donate unuseable points to some organization or not?

I called GTKTW and arranged for a weekend stay for one of the volunteers. It was very easy and I received a nice thank you from the organization, and they are not always "in my face" for other donations.

You'd have to actually make a reservation somewhere and donate that - you can't transfer borrowed points (and I am not sure that KTTW has a membership account to tranfer to, anyway).

You can donate a reservation, just be aware it's not tax deductible.

Thanks everyone. I'll have to figure out what to do but I have until June. Having said that, 2006 is really ticking by!
