? About the Disney Visa Credit Card
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Okay, I hope this doesn't get too confusing, and I wasn't sure where to post this, so I hope it's okay here. Anyway, we are starting to plan our next trip and are thinking about opening this credit card. However, I am a bit confused about something.
Okay, on the website Disney Visa Credit Card , they advertise "0% INTRODUCTORY APR Financing for 6 months from time account is open" along with "0% VACATION FINANCING for 6 months (as long as your account is not past due at time of purchase) after purchase date.
Okay... I understand that when I open the account, I have the FIRST 6 billing cycles with 0% APR financing. After the 6 billing cycles, it goes up. Okay, fine.
What I am trying to understand is the financing for the Disney Vacation Packages. According to the wording in the Terms, "For each qualifying Disney vacation package purchase,b provided your account is not past due on the purchase date: 0% for the first six billing cycles following the purchase date (promotional period)."
Does this mean that in order to get 0% financing for a disney vacation, I have to purchase the package w/in the first 6 months of opening the card? I understand it to be that I have 0% financing for a disney vacation for 6 months AFTER the date I purchase the package. For example, if I open the credit card today, and purchase the vacation package in August, I would have the 0% for the 6 months after August ( Sept-Feb). Is this correct?
I called the Disney Credit card number and spoke to two different people, who both told me that I would only get the 0% the first 6 months that the card is open. I'm just so confused since that is not what the website says. HELP!!!

And I don't have enough money to pay it off (It's got my college text books on it) So is it possible that my cruise deposit might go to 0%??
