I am staying in a 2 bedroomed villa at BCV next month :teeth: and know that we have booked a dedicated villa. I know that the 2 roomed villas are basically a 1 bedroomed and studio put together and the dedicated ones do not have 2 enterances. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how the second bedroom differs from the studio?? Am I right to think that it does not have the kitchenette? But what is there in it's place, just more room space?? I have seen loads of photos of the one bedroomed and studio rooms on various sited but no pictures of the dedicated 2 bedroom villas. If anyone has stayed in one and can answer my questions I would apreciate it. Thanks:teeth: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

I believe that teh big difference is two queen beds in the dedicated 2 bedroom vs the queen bed and pull out couch in the lockoff, but I don't know about the wetbar area.

Having a "dedicated" and having a "dedicated with 2 queen beds" are not the same thing at BCV. THere are lots of dedicated 2Br dedicateds, but only 25 with 2 queen beds -- the remainder have the queen bed / dble sleeper sofa combo.

My understanding was that to get the 2Q bed option, it's a room type you have to request, and if you ask and it's available at reservation time, it will then state so on your reservation confirmation. (If anyone knows anything to the contrary, let me know -- I posed these same questions a while ago and these were the answers I got! ;))

As for what it looks like w/out the fridge, I recall asking to see a 2br dedicated at BCV when we took a look last year. Seems like it had a "nook" area where the little sink/fridge would have been, but don't hold me to it.

We stayed in a 2BR dedicated in June(room 551). There was a queen bed and a sleeper sofa in the 2nd bedroom (you have to specifically request a room with 2 queen beds). Where the kitchenette would be there was a closet. Opposite the closet was a huge double vanity area, then the bathroom.

We used the sofa bed in the 2nd BR, but liked the fact that we could fold it up during the day and have an extra sitting room to watch TV (with 2 16yr old girls and a 12yr old boy, the extra TV was a blessing).

Hope this helps.

I just reserved 4 2 bedrooms at BCV. 1 Room was a 2 Bedroom Dedicated with 2 queen beds, 1 room was a 2 bedroom dedicated with a queen bed and a queen sleeper sofa and 2 2 bedroom lock offs. The 2 Bedroom Dedicated with 2 queen beds says "2 Bedroom Dedicated/2Q" on the reservation confirmation. The one without the 2 queen beds just says "2 Bedroom Dedicated"

I have been in both a Lock-off 2 Bedrom and a Dedicated 2 Bedroom with 2 queens at BCV. The differences I noticed were. Where the mini kitchen is in there is a closet instead. Where the front door in the lock off is, there is another closet. Where the closet was in the lock-off there is an additional sink instead. So in a dedicated there is 2 sinks off of the bathroom and in a lock-off there is one!
