First, have any of you had breakfast and dinner there, and if so, which did you think was better?

Also, what is the earliest you can make a ps for breakfast if the MK opens at 9:00?

Thank you!:wave2:

we've had lunch and breakfast there. My personal preference is to do an early lunch on an EE day. We get to hit the high demand stuff then get to take a break just as the park fills up. By the time we are finished eating a lot of people are either eating or leaving.

a preopening breakfast on a non EE day would put you ahead of the crowds if you get finished quick enough. I believe the usual first seating is 45 min before park opening.

Food at both are very good. Personally I schedule around whether I was doing EE or not, instead of the food being served.

I just had breakfast there last week. It was very good, the characters were great: Pooh, tigger, and eyeore walk around to the tables and piglet stays in the middle and you have to go to him. The buffet was good - waffles with tigger, pooh, and piglet on them, eggs, french toast, crossiants, donouts, fruit, omlet station - the usual for a breakfast buffet. If you like winnie the pooh characters I think it is definitely worth it. We didn't see those characters anywhere else in the parks (you pretty much see mickey everywhere you go), so it was nice for my kids to see them. I haven't had dinner there, so I can't help you with that.

As far as the time breakfast starts, we had a 9:00 ps and arrived at 8:40. They seated us about 5 minutes later. I don't know what time the breakfasts starts, but if you get a PS before the park opens you just let them know you have a reservation and they let you into the park. I always took my confirmation numbers with me just in case, but we never had a problem.

This is one of my favorite places to dine at the Magic Kingdom. Ate there for both lunch & dinner on my last trip and the food & service was excellent!!

This is a must dine for us.

I'm just bumping this because I'm curious too!! I am planning to eat here for the first time with my 11 yr old dd and keep flip flopping between doing a lunch/dinner or breakfast and right now I was leaning toward the breakfast. Which has better choices?

I always hear great reviews about their breakfast, but we LOVE their dinners! We make it a point to eat dinner at the CP during every MK visit! I'm already looking forward to December...

Thanks for the responses thus far. One more question: I thought I read somewhere that kids have their own little buffet center. Is this so and what offerings do they have for kids? (My kids are picky!)

From what I remember, they had mac n cheese, pizza, rainbow bread with pb&j, and really good chicken strips! And, don't forget the yummy dessert bar! ;)

The kids are not limited to the kids section of the buffet though, they may eat anything available. That goes for the grown up's too, dh had to have half a pb&j on rainbow bread. :D

Dont you just love that rainbow bread? I've only ever had lunch there. For our Oct trip I'm planning both dinner and breakfast. Can't wait!

Bkfst. is awesome with many items to choose from. The breakfast lasagne is to die for. First PS is 8:05am. We were seated within 5 mins. This is a must do along with Chef Mickey's.

We love the breakfast more than the dinner. I just love their pastries and cook to order omlettes. Here's what we did on a EE day. MK opened at 8:00. We hit Fantasyland and Tomorrowland and then headed for our 10am PS at the CP. If you leisurely eat, you might be able to sample some of the lunch items before you leave, which is perfectly okay with the CM's.

We just had breakfast there two days ago, and it was wonderful--both for kids and adults. Our reservation was at 8:15, but there were several people ahead of us, so I think they start seating at 8:00 or 8:05. They had character waffles, which the kids liked, and 3 different egg offerings. I really liked the frittata, plus lots of fresh fruits, breads and the usual breakfast meats. At 9 a.m. they did a little parade around the restaurants with the characters leading and the kids following along. We left a little after 9 and didn't have to wait in line for Splash Mountain, so that was neat.

Flip a coin. Either choice is great! Until this past New Year's, I had never been to CP. While at WDW this time, we ate one breakfast and one lunch there. Both had good food and the characters were wonderful.
