Okay, before I start, let me say I have not contacted Guest Services or my TA yet (actually, we are not even sure we will upgrade to concierge). But, here's my question. We are taking a large family trip (8 total) in December. We all will be staying at AKL and we have thought of the possibility of upgrading to concierge (mainly for the sunrise safari). The other members of my family will not be upgrading. I have a younger sister who will be staying with my parents but I would like to give them a break occassionally (she has Downs syndrome). If my hubby and I want to go to the concierge lounge with my sister, would she be allowed in with us?

Thanks!!

Yes if you register her as a guest in your room. Otherwise, no. Keep in mind that there has been talk that they might impose a minimum stay of three nights to take to SS, so upgrading for one night might not work by then.

If we were to upgrade I was planning on upgrading for the entire trip. Thanks again for the info!!!

And BTW--Even if she is registered in your room she can sleep in your parents room if that would work out better. HAve fun!
