? about checking in

We arrive Sept. 28th, we're flying and using ME. We are staying at AKV by renting points. When do I check in? Do I do it before we leave or when we get there? If I can check in before should I do it online or call them? TIA

The only way to actually check in is to do it in person when you arrive. Disney has an option called online check in, but you are not truly checking in. When you go through the online check in process, all you are doing is preregistering. You verify your contact info and provide a credit card for room charging purposes. Doing online check in theoretically speeds up the time it takes to actually check in because your KTTWs and welcome packet are printed and ready for you when you arrive.

I always do online check-in. Never have had a line, and they already have the room and cards ready when you arrive.
