I was wondering about this too. Do you have to make reservations to see the characters, and is it free to resort guests? Do they come to all resorts?

Hello Tina26-
Yes it's free to all. Even non resort guests could come into the resort lobby's for the character meet and greets. There's less people to deal with then in the parks, and it's inside ( air conditioned) so the characters seem to stay a little longer then in the parks. No ressies needed, but they are on a schedule. If you get there at the beginning of a session, your wait time will be much less. Check at the front desk for times and days.
