? about cancellations

If someone cancels their room/package and has the dining plan, would disney cancel their dining reservations? I am asking this b/c I am trying to make some dining reservations and am wondering if more availability will come up as people cancel at the 45 day mark(when package has to be paid).

No they don't automatically cancel. Your ADRs are listed under your phone number. People have to actually call and cancel their ADRs.

The ADRs do open up a bit around the 45 day mark. You just have to keep calling.

I made the majority of my ADRs in July but recently started moving things around. I was able to get a Chef Mickey ADR for 5:30 the week of T-Giving just last week. I just had good timing

I call way too many times thought. I have WDW-DINE on speed dial

You will notice availabilities around the 45 day mark. I started calling a few days before my 45 day mark (it was technically the 49 day mark) and was able to get a CP package at Chefs de France and a Le Cellier dinner that week.
