? about buying passporter though amazon

I have the deluxe passporter but my friend wants one so I thought I would buy her one for her b-day. Anyway I have never bought anything from amazon but decided to buy this from them. After I bought it I got an email staing that I had bought the 2004 deluxe starter kit edition. I thought I was getting the 2005. So my question is is there much difference in the 2? has I know the prices may be different but that is o.k. and is the deluxe starter kit the same with them as through the passporter site? I guess I am just nervous since this is the 1st purchase that I have made with amazon.

There's probably a world of difference between the two considering all the changes that has gone on at WDW over the past year.

Amazon is totally wonderful with returns if you need to return it. If it was your mistake, you'll have to pay shipping. I love Amazon! I order books through them all the time and I usually get my stuff within a couple of days with standard shipping.

I agree with Marseeya. There were a lot of changes this past year especially with tickets.

I have bought all my Disney guidebooks from Amazon (6 of them) and many other books. Always great service.

I would return for the 2005 edition.

Yes, I'd return the 2004 and get the 2005 edition.

However, the 2005 edition was printed BEFORE all the ticketing and package changes went into effect. You'll still have to go to www.passporter.com and print out all the new pages to be up to date on most of the new info regarding ticketing, EMHs, and packages. So, keeping the 2004 edition may not be such a big deal.

Thank you everyone. She is not really interested in all the written information as she has been to WDW many times and knows her way around preety well. She just wanted all the pockets and the organizer. I was really wondering how different the oganizer itself is from the 2005. I got a really good deal on it(a lot cheaper than mine) so I might just buy her the 2005 refills and than she will have more pockets also.
