? about Borders Coupons

Can Borders coupons be used more than once? In other words, can I print out 2 copies of the same coupon and use one today and one tomorrow?

I dont think so. They track how many times the coupons have been used by your boarders cards. I can print 2 coupons from my e-mail and then I use one with my card and my husband uses one with his card.

Yes, you can. They don't keep track or stop you--I do this often. Now I have 2 Borders Rewards cards and print out 2 coupons. One for me and one for DD or DH. We each checkout separately. No need to even print the coupon--just tell them the code. Or, if you forget your coupon, just ask at the checkout and they'll scan a coupon someone else has used.

Just be aware that not every Borders will do this -- it's against company policy, and it depends on how picky their manager is (I worked at Borders a couple of years ago, and our manager strongly discouraged this). However, you may find yourself with more than one discount from more than one email -- over the weekend, I actually had three different discounts (a teacher 25% for educator's week, a 40% and a 33%). I could have used the 40 and the 33 on different items, and then the 25% on everything else in my order -- but they couldn't be stacked.

if you get lucky the cashier wil just scan them both for u in the same transaction.
mine do it for me b/c i tell them i will just get back in line!!

I have stopped printing those type of coupons and when I get to the register, I just tell the cashier that I have "gone green" and did not print the coupon.

Then I just show her the email with the coupon on my Iphone as proof that I am eligible to use the coupon....never had a problem and I've done this at Borders, Aeropostale, & I can't recall where else.

*And "yes", in the past, when I've printed out the coupons, I used them on multiple days with no problems.

I've even used the same coupon multiple times in the same day! I'll print out three or four copies of the coupon, take my kids with me, hand over my card and the coupon then hand DS the coupon and my card and have him pay and then hand the next child the coupon and the card and have him pay, etc. I will then walk to the back of the store, and hit the coffee bar and use the coupon.

The only thing you can't print/use twice are your Border Rewards bucks.

The coupons -- 33%, 40%, etc, print out as many as you want and use them. Some cashiers will let you do more than one transaction at a time, others will tell you to get back on the line to use the 2nd one (which I have no problem doing!) The coupon itself says "single use only" and that one coupon per person during the coupon period, but I've never had a problem with it.

Yesterday, I got lucky. I had the 40% off coupon and when I went to the counter and the cashier scanned my card, she reminded me I had $5 in Border Rewards and asked if I wanted to use them. Of course! LOL!! So I got my book for about $6 after the coupon and the $5 off.

We frequently use 2: I use one and DH uses one....and we both use the same rewards card.
