? about banking

I have already banked my remaining 2021 (Apr) points to 2022. If I cancel my upcoming trip which I used old banked points plus some current uy points for, can I still bank the current uy points? Or is banking a one time thing. I get that I'll lose the 2020 banked points, I'm just wondering if I can still bank the 2021 points if I already banked some of my 2021 points. TIA

Yes, you can still bank the current year points. I believe you have until Nov 30th to do so. It doesn't matter if you have already banked some of the current year points.

I would also look into renting out the 2020 points that are at risk. There's still time to do that. No need to lose them for nothing.

If you cancel 30 days or less from the check in date, the points will go into holding and will no longer be bankable.
