Wow, I could have gotten in trouble for trying to abbreviate All Star Sports....lol

Anyway, we had a preferred building at sports and I was able to switch to standard @ music and save $60. Since it is just my DH and I that will be more $$ for fun stuff

I have read that Jazz is the building to request to be closest to the food court. I would love a king / corner room does anyone know if those are few and far between? We will be checking in around 5 in the evening so I don't know that we will get it even if we ask. I wonder if it would help to fax a request????

Also, is king worth giving up the tub?

We stayed at the ASMU a couple of years ago and requested the Jazz building on our reservation and I sent them a fax a couple of days before we left home. We got a nice corner room in the Jazz building overlooking landscaping in a courtyard; each day we saw bunnies hopping through it was really cool. You just can't beat the price at the All Stars. We wondered through the sports and movies resorts too - they are all very cool. Have fun

thanks for the reply ~ I sent a fax yesterday (Tues) and we leave Monday ..........I'll have my fingers crossed.

My only concern is no tub I really wanted a king and the CM said all king's are handicap rooms so there are no bathtubs...looks like I may have to shower....

The Calypso buildings are the closest to the food court, Jazz is next. They changed us from "County Fair" or "Country Fair" at check in because I really wanted to stay in Broadway- they are very accomodating if they can be! Enjoy your stay!
