Hi everyone,

My hubby and I live in the Seattle area and are planning a trip to WDW for Nov. We are looking into the non stop Alaskan Airline flight from SeaTac and wondered if anyone else from this area has taken it, and if so how was your experience. Thanks in advance for any info you can us :teeth:

We're booked to take this flight in March - so I'm interested in any replys myself!

Wondering if they have any kind of movie on this flight...

My sister took this flight from SEA to MCO in July '03 (I think). She said it was great. They like to take Alaska to Disneyland from SEA, too, because they also have non-stop flights to SNA. There was also something about the upgrade first class when you check in (if it is available ) at a very reasonable fee that she likes (I don't remember the details). She also likes the service.
I have only flown Alaska once in recent years--last May '04, DCA-SEA and SEA-DCA non-stop. Both flights were good. They served a meal and the flight attendants worked very hard all the time. They made rounds up and down the aisles almost continuously--offering newspapers on the first go, something to drink, picking up trash, serving meals, picking up trash, something to drink, picking up trash, et'c et'c. I was very impressed.

Alaska has a $50 upgrade to first class option - I think you have to have one of their certificates (we get them every year with our credit card statement). We've only used it once - several years ago.... They only send us 2 cert. each year and we usually are traveling with the kids as a party of 4....

We have made this flight 3 times (round trips). We already have our December flight booked. It was free! :cool1: We used credit card miles to book our coach seats, then used Alaska Air miles to upgrade to 1st class.
When available, Alaska will allow you to upgrade to 1st class at the gate just prior to your flight. I beleive its about $100.00. If you want 1st class, I wouldn't take the chance of these seats being available. Plus, if you are flying with others, there is no guarantee that the seats will be together.

Hey Everyone

Thanks for all the great info. DH and I are definately going to book a flight with Alaska! I am getting so excited and our trip isn't until Nov! :disrocks:

I love Alaska Airlines, one of the good ones.
We are flying the non-stop overnight flight in under 2 weeks.
Then we are coming back in 2 weeks on the 7AM return flight, gets us home to Seattle by mid-day... gives us some time to unpack and recover before work the following day :)
That should work out well, wife and I are in first class and kids are in the back!
Always wanted to do that!!
The kids are back there with grandma and auntie :)

Were taking this flight in December on miles also!! We took this flight in Nov of 03 and it was the best flight to MCO we have had. Flying non-stop is well worth it!
