? about airfares for the airfare experts out there

We are going down to WDW at the end of August. We still have not booked our airfare. Is there a chance fares will go down in the next week or so(based on anyone's experience from last year at this time)? Do Continental and Delta issue credit vouchers if the fare drops after booking? Is one of the airlines I mentioned better about issuing credit vouchers than the other? I would appreciate any information anyone can give me. Thank you.

Check every day and when you find a price you can live with GRAB IT!!! Delta had prices lower yesterday than today, for me it would have been a $50 savings, IF i had grabbed it.

I never had a problem with Delta and credit. Never used the other.

Once you buy, that's it... If the fare drops the next day, you will not receive the difference. Check daily, purchase no later than 21 days before your departure. Deals are going on, keep your eyes open.

Most airlines will give you a credit voucher good for a future flight.

MOMMY23 if you are traveling from PHilly as your parking question indicates...call Delta today....I just got a $133.50 rate for march...but it only requires a 14day purchase....That rate probably won't last until tomorrow....and probably won't ever get much cheaper...

I saw that airfare listed yesterday evening. We're not sure about flying from Philly. We're trying to figure out the savings. Philly involves leaving a day earlier(2 hour drive to airport), overnight hotel, and other things.

I'm no expert, but I would generally buy now for late August. No guarantees, but at this point you're only likely to see increases. With Delta you can play the game of watching the capacity of the aircraft by looking at the online seating charts for the flights you're interested in. If the flight is mostly empty you're probably safe to wait a little longer, though there still might be across the board increases.

I have received credit vouchers from Delta two times with no problems. The first time I had to speak to someone in a special department for reissuing tickets. The second time (just last month) the ticket reservationist handled it over the phone without having to be transferred to another department.

How do you find out what the capacity is of a flight and if it is full or empty? Is there a site for all of the airlines? Which airlines offer this service?

Also, which airlines offer credit vouchers for future use if the price drops. Do you have to call them to get this or is it automatic.
